El Pensador - 1br, 1ba

Behind the facade and beyond the courtyard lies a cozy Spanish-style hideaway.

For as long as I have been playing The Sims, I have wanted to create Giles' apartment from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. It's a compact Spanish-style single floor apartment with a staircase leading up to a suspended bedroom level. The living space flows effortlessly into the dining area with a breakfast bar to the side and a view through to a modest kitchen. The bathroom can be found towards the rear of the house.

To the front is the stunning courtyard, bursting with greenery and potted plants, with a large fountain centrepiece. At either side, Sims can sit and enjoy the peace and tranquility or a spot of al fresco dining. The property is enclosed within a giant facade to give owners maximum privacy.

The interior and courtyard are both inspired by BtVS, though the exterior surround and fa├žade are my own design due to exterior shots in the show changing between seasons and the need to condense an entire apartment complex down to just one property.
