El Pensador (Rupert Giles' Home) - 1br, 1ba

Behind the facade and beyond the courtyard lies a cozy Spanish-style hideaway.

For as long as I have been playing The Sims, I have wanted to create Giles' apartment from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. It's a compact Spanish-style single floor apartment with a staircase leading up to a suspended bedroom level. The living space flows effortlessly into the dining area with a breakfast bar to the side and a view through to a modest kitchen. The bathroom can be found towards the rear of the house.

To the front is the stunning courtyard, bursting with greenery and potted plants, with a large fountain centrepiece. At either side, Sims can sit and enjoy the peace and tranquility or a spot of al fresco dining. The property is enclosed within a giant facade to give owners maximum privacy.

The interior and courtyard are both inspired by BtVS, though the exterior surround and façade are my own design due to exterior shots in the show changing between seasons and the need to condense an entire apartment complex down to just one property.
