About B2

The Sims first entered my life shortly after its release back in 2000 (seems like forever ago). I can't say I had many PC games at that point - a few forgettable games here and there, Discworld II (still a favourite), and Bram Stoker's Dracula (awful, just awful). I fell in love with The Sims right away and have never lost that love!
I never really ventured into CC side of things back then as I was generally unaware that it was even a thing until one day I stumbled across a fan site. For the life of me, I cannot remember what it was called. I know that The Sims Resource has been kicking about since the dawn of the Simtime, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't that one. My brain wants to say it was something along the lines of "Skins for Sims"... I'm really not sure. Anyway, I stumbled up on this site that told me how to put and mp3 file in a folder so that my Sims could watch The Munsters on their telly (wow). Even better than that, I found Doctor FrankenSim's Skin Collection and all the resources I needed for my Sim to become Edward Scissorhands. HOLY POOP!

Not that that went well...

Three hours - three long hours! - I spent redecorating 5 Sim Lane after evicting the Goth family (shame on me!), all so my little Scissorhanded Sim could have the big gloomy house with its own graveyard. I thought I'd really outdone myself in comparison to the modest build I'd had for my little self-Sim. In Edward comes, ready to tour his new abode only to shake his head and go "urgh" at literally EVERYTHING!

I was so angry, so upset, so disappointed... so much so that I desperately set about re-doing everything to try and appease the wirey-haired little bastard.

That's when I knew my life was over.

EA got me. They got me good. Damn them...
