Bayside Diner Refurb!

"You know we belong together... you and I forever and ever..."

When I originally built the Bayside Diner from Aussie soap Home and Away, I always intended on doing something with the empty unit

I've long wanted to add the Surf Club to that unit, though in the show itself, the two were never part of the same building. Thus, it was going to be impossible to create a screen-accurate Surf Club. Instead, I decided to go with something original but with the feel of the many faces of Summer Bay's second favourite hangout.

NOTABLE CHANGES:

The Diner

Platforms - this lot was originally built pre-platform update, so these have now been properly formed and there's not more darkness in the main seating area.

Seating - new seats, edging slightly closer to screen accuracy. I just wish the steel folding BG chair wasn't the wrong colour blue!

Counter Gate -  honestly, I got so sick of random Sims wandering into the kitchen. As I recall, they have a lifting counter-top in the show, so in lieu of that we now have a gate that we can lock to everyone but employees!

Staff Uniforms - speaking of staff, chefs and hosts have new uniforms.

The Surf Club

The Surf Club is open to all, though there is a 'club' door to the rear for you to create an actual 'Surf Club' to gather there. Suggested criteria includes:
  • Invitation: Open
  • Requirements: Teen, Young Adults & Adults
  • Activities:  Swim, Workout, Dive in the Ocean, Be Friendly with Everyone, Play Foosball
  • Do Not: Be Mean to Anyone, Fight with Anyone, Drink Bar Drinks, Sabotage Objects, Swipe Objects
