About 2 years ago, I started making a TS3to4 stuff pack.
You probably know where this is going. PC goes into storage, laptop is a heap of garbage, blah blah blah.
Anyway, a couple of weeks ago I got side-tracked from my game overhaul when I was sorting through some WIP folders. I remember thinking, "Can I be arsed to get back to this ridiculously massive project?"
The answer is yes. Yes, I can.
The majority of the project includes TS3to4 conversions, along with some original stuff. It's my first time converting anything, so I started off with the smallest and simplest items. Of course, Sims 4 Studio requires you to use Blender, which I have avoided like the plague for years because it felt like it was overly complicated. Turns out that it was just my brain over complicating things. Once everything finally clicked, I got really excited and decided that the one little item would not do - I wanted to make a stuff pack!
There's been a few tricky things along the way, but everything seems to be going quite well so far. The main issue I'm facing right now is the conversion of a bathtub. TS3 bathtubs have a deeper interior than TS4 tubs, so it causes an issue with the water level. I'll figure it out though.
I'm dreading the screenshot phase though. That's always a pain in the arse.
Catch ya later!
