Breed Out the Weird Challenge

Ooooooh, I love a good challenge! I say that like I've ever actually participated in a Sims challenge - I haven't - though to be fair, I never realised the sheer size of the Sims community until I went looking for CC a few years ago. What can I say? I live in a bubble of solitude!

In recent weeks, I've become increasingly addicted to Plumbella's YouTube channel. It's great to find a fellow Simmer who lives just down the road and talks as fast as I do, haha! One video in particular that had me chuckling was her 'Breed Out the Weird' challenge.

For those small few who don't know, this is a challenge (sometimes known as 'Breed Out the Ugly') wherein you create the most weird/ugly looking Sim you can and then through copious amounts of sexytime, eradicate the weirdness from the family tree. If you want a more in-depth description, check out a list of challenge rules compiled by MaggieMarley over at the Sims 4 Forums.

There's a lot of rules listed there and I just don't have that kind of attention span, so I decided to tailor the challenge to work around my patience, haha. To clarify, the core rules I'm stucking to are:
  • No editing of offspring’s features in CAS
  • No editing of spouses’ features in CAS
  • (Obviously) no editing of founder’s features in CAS
  • No spouses or partners downloaded from the gallery. Premades, townies and their descendents only.
  • Your founder can marry or practice 'free love'. 😘
  • No money cheats allowed.
  • No fertility reward trait or lot trait and no mods to increase the likelihood of a multiple birth.
  • The heir of the next generation must be the biological child of the heir of the previous generation.
  • The Challenge is completed once you get a normal looking heir.
  • If your founder dies without an heir, you must start over.
There's also a rule about not aging up children before their birthday. I'm here and there about that rule because who the hell has time to stand around baking cakes when there's more baby-making to be getting on with? ⬅There's a sentence you'll never hear me use in real life!

Now, before I go introducing you to the Sim I created, I just want to give a little shout-out to S4 Gallery user OliviaandBen who made a Sim that looks so much like mine, they could be related! No, it's not a case of someone re-uploading someone else's work. Their Sim was created months ago and it's just a spooky coincidence that we picked the same skin tone, hair colour and a similar nose shape! Totally different side profiles though, and I opted for rocket boobs rather than knee-warmers, haha.

Anyway without further ado, let me introduce you to Serenity Troy-Ingleby!

Check that schnoz and chinny-chin-chin action, eh? If you want to keep up with Serenity and her heirs, then just click the BOTWChallenge tag and keep checking back.
